BENGALURU, March 24: Royal Challengers Bengaluru fans can now start booking tickets for the team’s first home game of IPL 2026, with sales going live ahead of the March 28 clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Coming into the season as defending champions for the first time, RCB is already seeing strong demand for tickets, with fans rushing to secure seats for the opening home fixture.
How to Book RCB Tickets and What You Need to Know
The franchise has made ticket booking available exclusively through its official website and mobile application, advising fans to stay away from third-party platforms to avoid scams.
To complete a booking, users must first go through a digital KYC process by linking a valid government ID. Once verified, fans can select the match, choose seating categories and proceed with online payment.
Each user is allowed to purchase up to four tickets, a move aimed at ensuring wider availability among supporters.
Digital Entry, Metro Access and Match-Day Arrangements
RCB has opted for a fully digital ticketing system this season, meaning fans will not receive any physical tickets. Instead, entry will be granted through a QR-based digital pass that becomes active only a few hours before the match.
In a fan-friendly step, ticket holders will also be able to use their match ticket as a metro pass on game day, helping ease travel to the stadium in central Bengaluru.
Entry to the venue will be managed through designated access points including Cubbon Road, MG Road and Link Road, with authorities putting restrictions on other routes to streamline crowd movement.
Safety Measures in Focus After Last Season
This season’s arrangements come after heightened focus on safety following last year’s crowd management concerns. Authorities have since cleared the Chinnaswamy Stadium to host matches with additional safety and crowd control measures in place.
With the opening home game scheduled for 7:30 PM IST on March 28, a packed stadium is expected as RCB begin their title defence in front of home fans.
