Earlier the same day, Kajol wished veteran actress Jaya Bachchan a happy birthday in a sweet Instagram post. She shared a candid photo from Durga Puja 2024, calling Jaya “the most simple woman”. The image showed the two actresses in conversation, recalling the time they shared screen space in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
On the work front, Kajol is gearing up for the release of her much-anticipated mythological horror drama “Maa”, set to hit theatres on June 27, 2025. Directed by Vishal Furia and written by Saiwyn Quadras, the film features Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, and others in supporting roles. It is presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, with production by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak.
