Realme has officially expanded its budget-friendly P-series in India with the launch of the much-anticipated Realme P4 Lite 4G. Designed specifically for users who prioritize battery endurance and physical durability without breaking the bank, this new entry-level smartphone brings several segment-first features to the highly competitive sub-Rs 10,000 price bracket.
Massive Battery and Charging Capabilities The standout feature of the Realme P4 Lite 4G is undoubtedly its massive 6,300mAh battery, which the company proudly claims is the largest in its segment. For users tired of constantly hunting for a charger, this device is built for marathon usage. It supports 15W wired fast charging and includes a handy 6W reverse wired charging feature, essentially allowing the phone to double as a portable power bank in emergencies. According to the brand, just a quick five-minute charge can deliver over five hours of music playback.
Display and Performance On the front, the smartphone sports a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a fluid 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 563 nits, ensuring good visibility even in outdoor environments. Under the hood, it is powered by the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor. The device comes with 4GB of physical RAM, which can be expanded virtually using dynamic RAM technology, and offers storage options of 64GB and 128GB. For users needing more space for media, the storage is expandable up to a whopping 2TB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Out of the box, the device runs on the latest Android 15 layered with Realme UI 6.0.
Camera and AI Features In the photography department, the P4 Lite features a 13-megapixel AI-backed primary rear camera equipped with an Omnivision sensor, alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls. Realme has infused the device with a suite of AI tools, including AI Eraser, AI Clear Face, and AI Call Noise Reduction 2.0, making everyday tasks smarter and more efficient. The back panel also houses a unique “Pulse Light” notification system with nine customizable colors and five glowing modes that react dynamically to incoming calls and charging status.
Military-Grade Durability Despite housing such a massive battery, the phone maintains a surprisingly slim profile at 7.94mm and weighs 201 grams. Durability is a major focus here; the device boasts an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, ensuring it can survive accidental drops of up to 1.8 meters and heavy pressure.
Pricing and Availability The Realme P4 Lite 4G is available in three striking color options: Obsidian Black, Sea Blue, and Beach Gold. The base variant (4GB RAM + 64GB storage) is priced at Rs 9,999, while the 128GB storage variant costs Rs 11,999. However, as part of the initial launch offers, buyers can avail of a Rs 1,000 bank discount and a Rs 1,000 coupon, bringing the effective starting price down to a highly attractive Rs 7,999. The smartphone will officially go on sale starting February 24, 2026.
