In a major healthcare milestone for Himachal Pradesh, Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) Shimla is set to commence robotic surgeries by March 2026. A state-of-the-art robot worth ₹28 crore has been installed, and specialized training for surgeons is currently underway to ensure world-class treatment for patients.
