New Delhi, March 11 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release the 22nd instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, transferring about ₹19,000 crore to farmers across India. The funds will be distributed during an event scheduled in Guwahati, Assam, on March 13, according to official announcements.
The PM-Kisan scheme provides financial assistance to eligible farmer families by transferring money directly to their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
