Prakash Chand

Prakash Chand is a grassroots leader who has built his life around the principles of empathy and community action. A social worker by profession, he has always been more comfortable in the streets and homes of Bhuana, listening to people’s struggles, than in an office. His victory in the 2021 Up-Pradhan election was a reflection of the deep bond he shares with his neighbors, and his qualification as a matric pass has never limited his ability to deliver real, practical solutions for the village.

During his tenure, Prakash has been widely praised for his commendable work, particularly in ensuring that local issues are addressed with speed and sincerity. He believes in a hands-on approach to leadership—being present when a road needs fixing or a family needs support. He is stepping forward once again for the position of Up-Pradhan, asking for the opportunity to continue his mission of service and to ensure that Bhuana Panchayat remains a community where every voice is heard and every person is cared for.
