Surjeet Singh

Surjeet Singh is a dedicated local leader and a hardworking farmer who is once again contesting the election for the position of Up-Pradhan in Sohda Panchayat, Kangra District. He brings a strong foundation of grassroots governance to his candidacy, having officially begun his political journey by successfully contesting and winning the Ward Panch election in 2012. Building on this deep public trust and his strong community connections, he was subsequently elected as the Up-Pradhan in 2021.

Deeply rooted in rural life through his agricultural background, he remains intimately connected to the everyday realities, challenges, and needs of the local community. Widely recognized for his people-centric approach and unwavering commitment to public welfare, he successfully carried out several notable development works during his recent tenure. Stepping forward once again to seek the continued support of the people, he remains steadfast in his vision to drive further progress, address grassroots issues, and ensure the sustained prosperity of his village.
