Kavita Kapoor

Kavita Kapoor is a Pradhan candidate from Graunda Panchayat, Bharmour Block, Chamba District. Born and brought up in Bajol Village of the same panchayat, she has spent her entire life in this hilly region and has a natural understanding of the challenges and day-to-day realities faced by its people. An apple farmer by profession, she is closely familiar with the issues surrounding agriculture in the mountainous terrain as well as the concerns of women in rural communities. Contesting the Himachal Pradesh Panchayat Elections 2026 for the first time, Kavita Kapoor brings a fresh perspective and a ground-level understanding of her panchayat to this election.
